Professional and secure counselling online

Online counselling, like face-to-face counselling, can be beneficial with many of the problems that stop people getting on with their lives.  Online counselling provides a private and non-judgemental space to talk about your concerns and fears and work with your Counsellor to resolve the issues that have prompted you to seek out Counselling.

You may wish to talk to someone in confidence yet may not have access to services locally.  Online counselling allows you to make contact with a Counsellor from your own computer in the privacy of your own home. This can be particularly useful if you would prefer not to sit face-to-face with a Counsellor or if you are unable to travel or are hard of hearing.  You may also feel more comfortable expressing yourself through text and welcome the opportunity to read over our exchanges after our sessions are finished. Contact can be flexible and tailored to your needs.

If you are comfortable communicating by computer and are familiar with email and/or chat  or video, Online Counselling may be suitable for you.

If you are in crisis right now and are at risk of harming yourself you must contact your local doctor, or go to, or contact, the Accident and Emergency Department of your nearest general hospital. Or contact the Samaritans 1850 60 90 90 who provide confidential non-judgmental emotional support, 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide.
